The Birth of TymPlates
Armed with an eight-year employment history in the processed foods industry and a background in Holistic Nutrition, Kristy Dotson, specializes in nutrition education. Through her own firm, Omnipotent Health, Inc., (www.OmnipotentHealth.com) she provides personal nutrition training and conducts popular nutritional workshops. She is the author of Fight to Live – Winning the Spiritual and Physical Battle for Your Health, and has been seen on ABC Channel 7 (Health Beat) and featured on several radio programs in the Chicago-land area. Additionally, Kristy manages a national network of nutrition educators through Nutrition Coach Network, LLC. (www.NutritionCoachNetwork.com)
Years of offering community education have allowed Kristy to witness the various roadblocks that exist for most people who are seeking to make changes in their dietary habits. These roadblocks prevent them from learning about nutrition, successfully applying nutritional techniques into their daily lives, and achieving weight-loss or other health benefits.
Roadblock #1 – “One Size Fits All” Diets
A host of diet programs are available to the masses, yet each different program makes the assumption that everyone is created the same on both a genetic and biochemical level. This false assumption leads consumers to believe that they can jump from one diet to another, in the event that the first diet failed in meeting their weight-loss goals.
Roadblock #2 – Complex Nutrition and Recipe Books
Many nutritional authors have mastered writing complex nutrition and recipe books that are far beyond the comprehension and capability of the average person who is just beginning his journey to wellness. Oftentimes, recipe books are provided which require a litany of ingredients and lengthy preparation times; these factors serve as a deterrent to trying something new and healthy.
Roadblock #3 – Company-Reliant Diet Programs
Weight-loss programs such as Weight Watchers and Jenny Craig have become icons in the diet industry. Unfortunately, these programs are targeted specifically to women and don't address the dietary needs of men and children. In addition, the pre-packaged, processed meals don’t fully empower the consumer to learn how to prepare healthy meals on his or her own.
Feeling the pain and frustration of many of her clients and seminar attendees, Kristy created the TymPlates Nutrition System to address these roadblocks and to provide the means by which others can surpass them. Through this unique product, she now offers you the same expertise provided to both her private and corporate clients. Kristy has personally taken on the challenge of transforming the manner in which the world nourishes its body. Her objective is to see a decrease in the number of people with the top three health challenges – heart disease, diabetes, and obesity.
