Food ChartThe TymPlates® Nutrition System offers an easy way to eat healthy without the hassle of calorie counting or measuring foods.

The system uses the 4 primary colors – red, yellow, blue, and green – to represent the basic food groups.

RED = lean protein
YELLOW = starchy carbohydrates
GREEN = vegetable carbohydrates
BLUE = good fats


When eating lunch or dinner, simply fill each color-coded section of the plate with foods from the corresponding color-coded food categories, easily determined through the companion TymPlates Food Chart.  Healthy portions are achieved when foods are placed within the compartment borders.

The Food Chart includes low - or moderate-glycemic carbohydrates, which means they will not trigger blood sugar spikes, but will rather promote weight loss.  Because you get to pick your foods, TymPlates Nutrition System promotes freedom of choice and not dietary restriction.
